El Último Aplauso
El Último Aplauso (The Last Applause) is a documentary directed by Germán Kral that tells the moving story of a group of veteran tango singers from the legendary Bar El Chino in Pompeya, Buenos Aires. A co-production between Argentina, Germany and Japan.

Friendship, tango and one last applause.
In 2001 the owner of Bar El Chino died mysteriously. Weeks later the place was in ruins and its mythical singers began to fade into oblivion.
The film follows these forgotten tango singers as they struggle to make a living after the bar's closure, in the middle of the worst economic crisis Argentina had ever seen. Above all, it is the story of a dream: artists who only want to sing for an audience one more time and receive their last applause. Because life is a tango.
I was involved in the art direction, brand development, communication material, visual identity and trailers.
