For the animated pieces of Marvel Lucha Libre Edition, the goal was to merge the vintage aesthetic of Mexican wrestling with the comic-book language of Marvel. We dug into the culture and universe of both worlds and built a blend of vintage and modern that feels like neither and both.
The animation and imagery reflect the excitement and intensity of in-ring action — two worlds fused in the ring.
